Jones has trained with Team BombSquad out of Cortland, New York, then briefly with the Tristar Gym in Montreal, Canada and most recently at Jackson’s MMA in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He also trained as a power-lifter during his suspension from the UFC.
Sanford MMA is a private gym that offers some public classes in wrestling and jiu jitsu.
To focus more attention on ONX Sports, Wittman closed down Grudge in November 2016, though he continues to train a few select fighters, including Rose Namajunas, Justin Gaethje, and Kamaru Usman.
Henri Hooft went on to help run the pro MMA training team, The Blackzilians, at the Jaco Hybrid Training Centre in Boca Raton, FL. There he trained MMA athletes such as Vitor Belfort, Anthony “Rumble” Johnson, Michael Johnson, and Glory Kickboxer Tyrone Spong.

Dan Lambert History. Dan Lambert founded American Top Team in 2001. Their vision was to build a world class training facility where MMA fighters could get all of their training under one roof, similar to the Brazilian Top Team gym previously co-founded by Liborio in Rio de Janeiro.
The Blackzilians are a world class group of professional athletes who train together at the JACO Hybrid Training Center in Delray Beach, Florida.
Some of the fighters who were originally training at the Blackzilians would join the new gym. In 2019, Hard Knocks 365 rebranded to Sanford MMA after obtaining a sponsorship deal with Sanford Health.
The name ‘Blackzilians’ was coined when Strikeforce Middleweight Danillo Villefort was looking through their management’s website and pointed out to Robinson that every fighter (at the time) was Black or Brazilian.
Hooft had a falling-out with Robinson in 2017, and many of the core members of the Blackzilians — including Usman and Burns — stayed with Hooft, who formed HKickboxing. That team ultimately was rebranded as Sanford MMA in late 2019.Feb 12, 2021
