Here's proof that all that Randy Couture returning stuff is actually happening.

The audio is a little long but definitely worth a listen if you want to hear Brock Lesnar go off on Fedor.

To recap: Brock Lesnar vs. Randy Couture on November 15, 2008, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas for the UFC heavyweight title. The winner will face the winner of Frank Mir vs. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.

What a day.

(By the way, if you're wondering why there is a photo of Rachelle Leah up there I figured you would rather look at her than, say, Brock Lesnar for the next hour or so. Just a hunch.)

Great, more WWF style BS from penis chest. Every time I see that pinshaped head, I think of a bigger beast, Ricardo Morais who was on Nog's team and in PRIDE. Morais was 6ft8, 280pds, BBJ/muay thai guy and gave a great 'mean' stare. I dont think c**k pecs is anywhere the fighter Morais was. And here is Aleksandr taking care of that tree: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x3abpr_aleksander-emelianenko-vs-ricardo-m Fedor is Fedor, what you think of him is irrelevant to him. He doesnt NEED Couture/White. Couture's whole persona depends on what people think of him and how his 8-5 UFC record has been cultivated/marketed for the maximize exposure in the home market (never have I seen such a deal be made out of someone being 'an alternate'.) So Couture/Fedor will probably never happen. So what? And once Couture loses to Crock and then Nog, no one will ever speak of it again.... And you Ariel, were right on the money with your Rachelle hunch. That was the perfect call.

Fedor will never be in the UFC. Fedor will not be restricted to all of Dana's rules.

Thanks to MMARated for the excellent information. Yes, as Dana White suggests, everybody wants to fight Randy, but for Dana to continue to insist that Fedor is irrelevant is an absurdity. Emelianenko is relevant because so many MMA fans want to see him compete. The point is well taken however that if Fedor chooses to compete elsewhere, for another organization under alternate management, then he's not relevant to the internal workings of the UFC, but it does not change the fact that he was the former Pride champion, that he has beaten some of the best heavyweights in the world like Cro-cop and at least three current or former UFC heavyweight champions, and that the match with Couture would most likely be the biggest financial windfall in the history of the promotion, hence it's relevance. Duh...
