MMARated.com has learned that UFC middleweight fighter Yushin Okami has recently suffered a broken hand and thus a potential title fight pitting Okami and Anderson Silva, once thought to be slated for September or October, has now been put on hold. We've also learned that if Silva leaves the Octagon tomorrow night without any major injuries there are plans to book Patrick Cote as his next opponent, possibly this Fall as well. Currently, the UFC has two October shows booked: UFC 89 in Birmingham, England, on October 18th and UFC 90 in Chicago, IL on October 25th. Stay tuned...

The UFC hardly ever mentions Okami's name. Looking forward to his return. If he does come back and it's not for the title I'd like for him to fight Franklin or Henderson.
